Dr. Jacquelyn Horner
Dr. Horner is a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi (Home of the Blues), but has called Georgia ‘home’ for the past 14 years. This Double Dawg received her Bachelor’s degree of Biology in 2010 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2015 from the University of Georgia. She is also fully bilingual, with Spanish as her second language. Her special interests include surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic pathology, and preventive care.
She has two fur children of her own: Chance, the Boxer/American Bulldog mix and Sam, the German Shepherd. Her favorite hobbies include trail running and hiking, boxing at the gym, cooking, attending Georgia Bulldogs football games, search-and-rescue training with Sam, and international travel. She can’t wait to demonstrate her commitment to you through community outreach and education, leadership development, and most importantly, quality care for your animal companions!
